It's amazing how sometimes a single accent item can take an outfit that clearly isn't dressy enough for the occasion and whisk it right into completely appropriate. Case in point, my daughter didn't want to change before heading out to dinner out the other night, so we settled on her amping things up a bit by wearing a Liv and Lily headband. She wore the platinum Olivia style headband adorned with cornflower blue raw silk rosettes and a Swarovski Crystal accent. And by simply adding the headband, my daughter's outfit which consisted of a plain black tee and white shorts seemed magically transformed from casual to refined.
